Lock down schools, campuses, office buildings, and large complexes in LESS than a SECOND with the touch of a button! The CBW LockDown app combined with ControlByWeb™ products are the building blocks needed to create a customized lock down system for instant lockdown in the event of an emergency.
Simply setup CBW LockDown to trigger a relay, variable, or register on a ControlByWeb™ device* to begin a chain of events to lockdown a building or complex. Relays can be connected to electric door locks, alarms, phone dialers, or lockdown status lights that tell others not to enter the building. In addition, many ControlByWeb™ devices allow you to send email and text messages** to alert authorities and others of an impending threat.
ControlByWeb products are highly customizable, for example, once the lock down is enabled, you can configure it to only be disabled by a password-protected, web control panel. Using CBW LockDown with our X-600M industrial controller gives you additional features such as the option to monitor who has triggered the lock down for a quicker response time.
CBW LockDown combined with ControlByWeb products is a reliable and cost-effective solution to lockdown schools, campuses, office buildings, and large complexes. Because ControlByWeb products communicate directly with one another, you do not need to use any outside cloud servers or services. There are no monthly fees, and no additional software to install.
* Installation of ControlByWeb products requires a basic knowledge of electronics and computer networking. In some cases, a Systems Integrator or licensed Electrician may be required.
** Text messages are sent via email messages to the recipients wireless carrier and converted to text.
