You guys need to hire a UX designer (or two, or three)

I don’t know how you built such and unintuitive user interface. I’m writing this review after one day of using this app! Here are some of my gripes.1. There’s no way to easily filter routes in the app. For example, I want to be able to easily search for boulders V6-10 above 1 star. There is no intuitive way to do this in the app.2. It is unnecessarily difficult to download areas. You have to download “sectors” individually, there is no way to download an entire area (e.g. Rocklands). Why not? Also, my friend downloaded some sectors that were not available later on when he was on airplane mode.3. The app crashed when I was trying to download a larger “sector” and I came to write this review, cancel my subscription, and search for another product that works.Hope you guys fix this! Would be nice if it worked.

Very disappointed

As an avid climber I am always for the progression on the sport and promotion of the areas. However… this app is quite useless if you don’t buy premium which is just over $8 per month. I can’t believe it is that expensive for an app that has bugs and is so simple which means that this is a bit of a rip off and upkeep costs don’t match the price. Compare this subscription to that of say F1 which is cheaper and is for a complex app where you can stream races any time. I’m not buying into this. Big big shame.

Hi and sorry to hear this! Just to explain the pricing a bit, as it might help to understand it better: The price of the app has been carefully decided, and we can honestly say that our apps and website are actually pretty complex even though they might seem simple. 😅 We would actually need much more resources to really do all the improvements we'd like to! Also it's good to understand that 50% of the subscription goes to the topos authors and hence for climbing area development, which we find very important. So when the server costs, taxes, Apple commission, topo author payments etc are deducted from the income, it's not so much what's left for the development. App restarts to the startup map almost every time you change apps to watch a video.Takes too many clicks to get back from a route topo to viewing route list for All Sectors w/ the sorting I applied. This should only take 1 click or swipe.Takes way too many clicks to tick a route. I want to do this in 1 click. I just don’t bother ticking routes since it takes too long.3 star system is a poor rating system. Give us 5 stars to work with.Some areas are really close together but I have to back all the way out and change areas to see boulders for another area that I’m right next to.Can’t comment on routes to add relevant information.Can’t comment on boulders or areas to add helpful information.

Just let me adjust the grain to all boulders in X area by ascents/etc.Impossible to track back to area fell earmarked/to-do climbs.As a premium service is offers nothing but “here are the climbs”, I’d rather buy 100 guidebooks.
