I liked it much better when I could use the joker.

Hi Ca412. Thanks for your feedback. I am not sure if I understood your issue right - you can actually use a joker if you go to the settings and set "Show Jokers" to "Yes". In the actual game you can then add a joker by tapping "Joker" in the bottom right. These jokers can only replace cards that are not yet revealed however, so you might not be able to use a Joker on top of a red 5 for example if there is a black 4 in the stack that you could add.
