Interactive, graphical psychrometric chart app for HVAC engineers and designers. Allows you to create and manipulate charts and state points with the touch of your finger(s). Processes that can be modeled include: • An individual state point. • Air mixing. • Sensible heating. • Sensible cooling. • Cooling coils. • Other processes by connecting state points. Add new state points by double tapping anywhere on the chart. Hold and drag existing state points to move them on the graph, with properties values updating live to aid you in setting them to the right value. Works in both SI and IP units. Allows you to create and save multiple charts. Properties and energy change for connected points are calculated and displayed live. Share your charts by exporting a PDF file or sending to an AirPrint device. I like this app and am enjoying it’s functionality. A few things I would like to see are the ability to change the positions of labels, so they don’t overlap, and the ability to save and re-open specific charts I’ve made.

Glad the app is working well for you. The labels can be moved. To move, select a label by tapping (will turn red). Then hold and drag the label to the desired location. Also, you can save and restore multiple charts on the device. The list of saved charts can be displayed by swiping from the left edge of the screen to the right, or by selecting "Charts" in the upper left corner.

The app can indeed show grains per pound of dry air for humidity ratio. Go into settings and change the units for Humidity Ratio to grains/lb, rather than the default lb/lb. It's a psychrometric app. You input two conditions for a point, and it will locate it on the psychrometric chart.... it will give properties at that given point.... but that's about it. They show a screen shot, where the app appears to show the process line for an air conditioning cycle. That image is completely fake! It will not give you a process line. You have to know the conditions of the return air, the outside air, the mixed air, and the leaving coil temperature. There's no input for the sensible heat ratio, there's nothing to this app to justify the price. This app does nothing but plot points on a chart. I should have spent my money on the lottery....

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the app. The App will show process lines (cooling coil, air mixing, sensible heating/cooling). To change the process type, create at least two state points. Then, either tap once to highlight the end state point, and select the "Edit" icon at the bottom of the screen or double tap the state point to bring up the Edit State Point dialog. Change the "Type" of the process. Choices are Point, Cooling Coil, Connect State Point, Air Mixing, Sensible Heating/Cooling. It will then display the process lines based on the data you input.
