The Fit NOLA app, brought to you by Eat Fit NOLA, is your community navigator for personalized nutrition guidance and to learn about health services available to you from over 200 local organizations. When you sign up for our app, you will provide basic details about yourself, and our app will automatically create a set of dietary guidelines personalized just for your nutrition needs, food preferences and weight management goals. You can use our app to check out nutritional information and Eat Fit NOLA approved dishes at over 100 local Eat Fit restaurants. Don’t see a restaurant in our listing? You can “Recommend” it and we will contact them and encourage them to join in our movement. Once they sign up you can receive nutrition information about their dishes personalized for your needs and the needs of your loved ones. You can use this app to keep up to date with local health and wellness News, find local Events and learn about Health Services that are available to you from dozens of organizations based here in New Orleans.

Honestly better than expected.

I'm pleasantly surprised, this app is actually helpful. Again, I had really low expectations since they are working with the city. However, the interface and overall look of the app wasn't too outdated, all the links worked and the information available like recipes, classes were very nice to have. I especially like the map feature to find healthy restaurants! Hopefully they continue to improve the app.

Good app but it could be better. Great graphics. Glad to have the interaction between NOLA reisdents and social media and cyberspace... While this is potentially a GREAT APP, it's not super current and up to date, therefore, it's not very helpful to use the app. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's in place, but it doesn't cover the full Gambit of what the NORDC has to offer. Look forward to future updates with current information.

But I can't complete the registration. There seems to be a bug that won't let you enter a birthday other than the current date. Also, it'd be great to have the option to select how much information you wish to include in your profile, rather than requiring every field.
