I am a long time fan and purchased this reincarnation through their Kickstarter campaign, but the game had been marred by a glitch in the Mirror Room on hardest difficulty that would occasionally give you a puzzle that wasn’t solvable, or the solution required more than 3 tiles on one side, or where the tiles would cease to lock into place on the left side. The new version has corrected this issue so that it plays like the original game. Great, fun logic puzzles for all ages. NOTE: I noticed one reviewer complaining that no matter when a “changing” tile was dropped it would not lock in the desired feature. That’s not how they work. The changing tiles key off of the feature of the Zoombini being mirrored. So if you have a blinking nose color tile, putting it in front of a Zoombini with a red nose will always give you the same result, for example a blue nose. It does not matter what color is on the tile when you drop it, what matters is what is on the Zoombini being filtered.

I loved this game when my son played it, and now he's grown and we're both playing it again. I'm so glad they kept the original sound and the graphics are just as I remember them. (Can never get enough of those pizza trolls.) Occasionally, the game freezes and I can't get the last couple of zoombinis through the puzzle. However, I have always been able to click the "next" arrow, so most of them will advance. My other complaint is there are only 400 zoombinis to a game now, and there should be 625. What's the point of a math game if you don't do the math????

I have been playing this game for 30 years and i looooove it. Long live zoombiniville. Love you guys always and forever. This game really saved me. I was in a really dark spot in my life, and this game really brought me out of it. Feeling attatched to my characters, I developed a deep and meaningful bond with them. This game tought me critical thiking skills, as well as family behaviors. Thank you once again for allowing me to travel in this emocional thrill ride.

Being able to re-experience this game has been a blessing, but there's some problems with it that definitely should be fixed.• Graphics sometimes flicker in places. I'm not sure if this is due to issues with modern retina display macs, but I think it would be worth looking into (I honestly wish I could help out with this because I've used Macs all my life).• Practice Mode doesn't let me select all difficulty modes (at first)? The original game lets you practice any level at any difficulty anytime you want, so this should be changed for sure.• No windowed mode? It seems the game always launches at full screen, which is fine, but the options don't seem to have any display modes whatso ever, which I would recommend plopping in.• There's a lot of sound effects in the original that feel like they're absent in this remaster. Various, thuds, cartoon sounds and zoombini noises are either not there, or they get cut off by other sounds.
