PTSD Toolkit for Nurses
Health & Fitness
Free · Designed for iPad
For Nurses who want to help Veterans with PTSD - hope begins with you!
The PTSD Toolkit App is a FREE e-learning resource for nurses for treatment of veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, providing clinical information combined with interactive simulations. This resource was developed by the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) and Penn Nursing Science, and was made available as a mobile application in partnership with the Lippincott Solutions team at Wolters Kluwer.
Available on mobile devices, the new PTSD App Toolkit enables you to test your skills for treating veterans with PTSD using our simulation tools, and includes the latest clinical information on PTSD assessment, intervention, and referral. Based on real case studies, the simulations let you practice intervening with a veteran. Read up on the latest nursing procedures and evidence-based information direct from Lippincott Solutions, provided by Wolters Kluwer.
We encourage you to use the Toolkit throughout your everyday practice, but especially to deliver care to military members and veterans who remain at high risk for PTSD.
