Keeps Deleting Reminders

First, I love this app. I searched dozens of apps that were overly-complex and fancy, when I just needed a reminder app to set recurring events, and let me set my own alert sound. BUT, sometimes after editing a reminder, a few others are deleted. I’ve had to do and re-do reminders several times, and some have not gone off at all because they weren’t there the next day. I hope this gets fixed because it’s the perfect app for me, otherwise.

Keeps Deleting Reminders

First, I love this app. I searched dozens of apps that were overly-complex and fancy, when I just needed a reminder app to set recurring events, and let me set my own alert sound. BUT, sometimes after editing a reminder, a few others are deleted. I’ve had to do and re-do reminders several times, and some have not gone off at all because they weren’t there the next day. I hope this gets fixed because it’s the perfect app for me, otherwise.

Terrible Customer Support

I tested out this app, and the functionality was severely limited, but I thought it had potential for what I was looking for, so I purchased the license. Even after purchasing this, I am still unable to set default settings. More importantly, you are unable to delete any events that you imported from your calendar. Deleting events is very time consuming, but I took the time to delete all those US and Japanese Holidays that got automatically imported. After all that, the next time I opened the app, every one of those events were no longer deleted. I sent in a support request for these two issues, but have not had any response in a week now. DON’T BUY THIS APP. NOTHING WORSE THAN A PRODUCT WITH ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

My one big complaint was that you had to set the time by grabbing the minute, second and hour hands on the small clock displayed, and move them with your mouse pointer. That’s gone and now you can set it easily by typing-in or using the up/down arrows. If you take the time to customize it, I think you’ll like this app. I do.

"Smart Reminder" is an excellent way to create and manage one or alerts with optional alarm/display choices. With my own tailored settings, I like the way the SR reminder box pops up on the screen at the appropriate time plays a pleasant jazzy song in the background and bounces around the screen (my setting). I am very happy with this App.
