Gain renewed energy and an increased sense of well-being with the Beurer WL 75 and WL 90 wake up lights or the TL 100 daylight lamp. Due to the complex demands of our everyday lives, it is often difficult for us to relax. In addition to this, the human body produces more melatonin in the months with less sunshine, which can result in tiredness and makes it difficult for us to get up in the morning. A lack of light prevents the production of the happy hormone serotonin, which is said to significantly influence our well-being. Using the Beurer wake up light and the Beurer daylight lamp in the morning helps you to get enough light and therefore adjusts your melatonin production and brightens your mood. The ""beurer LightUp"" app provides you will extensive functions for operating your device. Please note that the availability of certain functions varies depending on the individual products: ALARM – With the simulated sunrise and the selection of different melodies, you wake up gently every morning and can start the day feeling well rested. DAYLIGHT – Enjoy daylight at any time of the day and choose the intensity level MOOD LIGHT – Free your spirit with the preset light scenes and an additional choice of 256 colours. The additional timer function switches the mood light off after the time you have selected. SLEEP – At the end of the day, gently fall into a restful sleep with the simulated sunset, the reddish relaxation light or the mood light with changing colours. The soothing sleep melodies provide additional relaxation. RADIO – With the integrated radio, you can store up to 10 stations using the station search and use the stations as wake-up or fall-asleep music. White noise stops after an hour. :(

This app generally covers all the basics, but it is truly unfortunate that it requires a timer on the sleep aide soundtracks, and that timer can not go past one hour, which isn’t even a full REM cycle.It’s mating season for some kind of bird that has been announcing itself outside my window from 5am to 7:30 am for the past week. I need the white noise to help mask that blasted bird’s mating calls, without waking up at five, then 6, then 7 to turn the white noise back on, and there is no programming logic reason I can think of that the app should require a timer.I’d give it a full five stars if it just let me use the advertised product functionality for a full night’s sleep. I hope that they make an update to let us just turn it on and leave it running, but it’s been like two years sincei downloaded it, and no dice. :/

I have the WL 75 model, I like a lot of the functions such as the night light and rain sounds.(Thunder would be nice though :) )Although, I don’t like being unable to use the night/reading light when using the mood or sleep mode. I would love this app and device much more if that were a function. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do so and cannot figure it out. So for now 3/5stars

I like to use sunset and sunrise. Helps a lot in the winter. Would like to be able to turn the sound off but that is not the fault of the app but the device, probably the same with the Bluetooth connection as it frequently doesn’t connect. When the app connects, it’s a big advantage to not have to fumble in the dark to manually setup each night’s sunset. App instructions not too clear, would like to be able to adjust the time the white light is on (especially in the mornings) and “duration” doesn’t seem to control that. After some power surges “sunset” wasn’t working properly (again, probably the device, not the app) but after a couple of months it started working again.

Failed to Connect

I thought the light would help me get up and get energized in the morning. Not so. Does little to get me out of bed. Also, whenever I try to control the light from my iPad it usually always says “Failed to Connect.” I pretty much have to adjust manually. Very rarely does it connect.
