I would love if this app was functional, but I don’t know if you guys realize how bad the new layout is. Like, it’s just awful. You can’t see if a theater is full without going through ticket purchase first. If you don’t use it for a day or two it reverts back to the old layout so you have to find a way to maneuver around to get to the right place. Going home doesn’t take me to my theater. I have to go to locations and select my theater all the time. This should not be the case. These are just some of the issues. It’s just bad. Please who can I contact to so I can help you get this right. I have to believe the people who design this app don’t actually use it. You need people to help you design it properly. Please for the love of god read the reviews and fix the problems. Plural. PROBLEMSSSS.

Started using fandango app but then thought “maybe I’ll try using Cinema West app directly”. Unfortunately I found no value in it. It’s awful, janky, unstable…a poorly implemented port to simply make their website show up as an “app”. Ironically, it’s poorly optimized for mobile. Pages crashed, after finally being able to select seats I got stuck in a loop after entering my CC number, couldn’t go back, then it crashed and lost my seats. Went back to Fandango, instantly selected my same seats, hit Apple Pay, done - in 30 seconds. Love your cinemas, Cinema West, but please put in a good college try to create a “real” app with real value and UX. 🫡

This app isn’t any more convenient than purchasing tickets through their website. On top of that, even though the app shows I made a purchase, it didn’t give me any points towards their reward program after buying 3 movie tickets. There also was no option to preorder concession items through the app like was stated in the App Store. After my experience today with this app, I’ve decided to go back to Regal Cinemas because their app actually gives me my reward points when I purchase tickets through it.

New update is so bad I wonder who thought it was a good idea. It used to be at least a decent, and somewhat useful way to see all movie options at my local theater, although the rewards tab never worked. Now it’s most just silly and frustrating. I must choose a movie first, going by only the title (no image or clue about the movie), then the date, and then time…only to see it’s not even playing locally. Back to Fandango app for me.
