I opened bbtan and noticed that it had levels and so I started playing them and at first I liked it and I got a reward while playing. It’s called golden aim and it lets you see more of where your balls will go for three levels but it was so glitched that I couldn’t get my balls to go where I was aiming and I thought that I would get it again even after it went away so I just stopped playing the levels. Then I saw it had endless mode just like the original one so I started playing it and it also was glitched because of the lock and key blocks when the four spaces block replaced itself with another block with the key block, and you needed the key block to break the lock block so the blocks came to the bottom and made me lose when I was really far. Also, I think the game should have an amount of blocks that can touch the bottom because I keep dying to extremely low numbered blocks and it’s just annoying. But besides all that stuff, it’s still pretty fun and never repeating the same game over and over like other games.

I’m was amazed when I saw the new app icon for BBtan. I’ve been playing this game since 2015ish and loved it. But after opening the game I was filled with disappointment. I open it to see a chest icon that you “level up” and a completely different art style. Why in the world would you change the iconic art style. The blocks now look like they come from the average brain rot mobile game. It feels like the soul of this game got thrown to the curb for a cash grab. The aim control feels like trash as well. That is not to say that there isn’t quality of life improvements such as a automatic ball return when you break all the blocks on screen, and a fast forward. But unfortunately the good does not surpass the bad. I was so close to unlocking all the different balls you can unlock from the vending machine in the previous version. And now all of that is gone as far as I can tell. Bummer this was one game I had on all my phones since I found out about BBtan.

i have played this game on and off for the better half of the last five years, and had been extremely satisfied with the state the game had been in up until this latest update. I had amassed quite the collection of balls, with this new update all my progress vanished unbeknownst to me. After seeing that the update had also implemented the addictive and predatory tactics of many inferior mobile apps, like the “lives” and “pass” I had no option but to immediately delete the app and come here to write this review. When i realized the icon had changes and there had been an update i was immediately taken by surprise as this app was usually not updated very often. I personally prefer the more blocky look and the looooong turns where balls would bounce almost infinitely lol. the new speed up animation is intrusive and breaks the immersion of the game. i’m glad i’m not the only one that shared this negative view on this update and i truly hope that the developers reconsider the decisions made in this update as i genuinely look forward to playing the original BBTAN again,

BB-TAN used to be a simple but fun brick-breaking game. If Swipe Brick Breaker was Space Invaders, then BB-TAN was Galaga — undoubtedly inspired by a competing game but with substantial gameplay improvements that helped the game make its mark on the genre. It’s been a game I’ve been happy to come back to every so often for the last half-decade. Sure, it had ads, but that’s okay, because the game was free. All of that was ruined with the recent major update. BB-TAN is now a third-rate Candy Crush knockoff, predatory monetization scheme and all. Now you have to spend a “life” to play a round of what used to be a completely free game. My advice to the developers is to roll back to the last version before this update and pretend the update never happened. Sadly, I don’t see that happening. Like so many iOS developers, 111% saw the dollar signs and went to the dark side. DELETED!
