The Assassin of Doom
Dododex is amazing, the people that make the tips, the fanfictioners on there, the helpfulness of the calculators, and what recipes and helps there are are awesome. It’s helpful if you want to tame, breed, kill, or otherwise interact with animals on ark. It’s even prelinked into the the ark mobile game so when you are looking at an animal there’s a button that switches apps over to dododex. That in and of itself in my opinion is far and beyond the duty the dododex creator even asked for by creating such an app and shows his determination to help ark players and geeks alike.However to reach its full potential it would be good for him to start putting in other features like resource calculators, or overviews about different things like supply drops, animal drops, or artefact rewards instead of giving links to the wiki where we have to dig through it to find this stuff bc it’s not readily accessible. That is the only thing that the Survive ARK Companion has over Dododex. In everything else Dododex completely outpaces it’s competition. So please start putting those in place because if you did... instead of being just a unfinished gem... it would become a resplendent and priceless gem.

The Dododex is a brilliant app

The Dododex is very helpful to me in a ton of ways first it is awsome how Dododex shows you what you need to tame certain Dino’s. Then the Dododex will show you how to make the certain kibbles needed for the certain Dino’s. It even shows you what different types of Dino’s drop. The idea that someone would research this much about ark so that the players know how to do things on ark is awsome. I love ark so much but sometimes I don’t know how to make certain kibbles or I don’t know what I use to knock out the Dino’s I’m wanting to tame but when have Dododex that’s not a problem at all I really think this app should have 5 out of 5 as the rating using this app is a life saver in so many ways whether your trying knock out tame or make kibble this app is there with it all written down this app is free too this app is probably my favorite to keep out when playing ark it will turn you from a lvl 1 to a 70 in no time so get this app try it out and you might love it.

This app great for a variety of reasons! Honestly it can be helpful in a lot of situations in ark survival evolved such as exploring, taming, and overall just as a source of information. Wether your trying to tame something for the first time and don’t know what to feed it. Or just if need to know how to make something in ark. Also there is a feature where you can read tips made by people who use the app. In it you can read funny or more helpful ones which is fun, helpful, and unique. It’s also just a nice time saver for people who love ark. The point is it is a well made useful app that covers tons of thing like various calculators even if they aren’t the most accurate and may not have everything up to date on some of the features. But if you love ark and play it often then I would definitely recommend it! Also thanks to the people who made it because they did a great job at doing it!

Your app is the best thing to use with your play through of Ark! It has all the information one could need for the game. Info on each and every dinosaur, which harvest resources best, where to find resources, the layout of each map, the list goes on. I use this app every time I play the game so I can do things efficiently and quickly. One suggestion that I have, though, to make this app even better would be a place to record what tames we have. Sure, I could just use a notepad and all, but that just feels wrong. A little section to record what dinos we have would be a great addition! You know, and be able to record the levels and stats on it, maybe even be able to add the current stats of each tame in our game in somehow! That part is a tall order if any, so I understand that won’t likely happen. But at least consider adding a list so we can keep track of what dinos we have. Thank you for the amazing app!

Thanks for the feedback! Good idea! This is something I've considered adding. Tracking stats is a huge undertaking though -- it's a feature that I do want to add in the future, however, but adding checklist of dinos would be a good idea. :)

- Item categories, including "Resources" (by popular demand)

- Creatures now prominently display game version availability (ASA/ASE/UME)

- Tools are included in "top gatherers" lists again (Sorry! Those were accidentally removed!)
- Additional info on foods and recipes like XP, stack size, health, food, and more.
- Breeding and stats tabs now only display if data is available for a creature
- On recipes, you can now tap an ingredient's icon to open that item
- ASE single player presets added to settings
- Visual design and icon updates
Bug fixes:
- Ads on the ARK Wiki (spawn maps, etc.) would sometimes open full-screen. This was a technical glitch on Dododex's side. These were not Dododex ads.
- Images for some items were not displaying
- Last selected food was sometimes not correctly remembered when switching creatures
- Some creatures were displaying slightly incorrect "hits until flee"
