Love the features. Hate the kinks. Duh!

Overall, this app is my favorite out of all the accountability apps. Just some kinks I find annoying. The app will randomly kick you out throughout the day and it won’t save your login info. Which isn’t that big of a deal. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app many times, and when I go to sign back in as the accountability partner it starts taking me through the sign upProcess. So you get stuck…maybe have a clear “accountability partner login” page? It also bothers me how many settings the user has access to be able to change under the radar. Unless you look at their account on their phone. I don’t mean for this to sound negative and that I wouldn’t recommend the app. I do actually! If these kinks were fixed it would be downright perfection :)

Update: I would like to update my previous review from one to three stars. I appreciate the sincere response from the developers. I do apologize for calling the app garbage. That was simply an expression of frustration with the errors in function of the app, and probably too much of an exaggeration. Thankfully from previous setup the app does function as far as the reporting activity feature goes. My previous criticisms, regarding the unusable app, still hold true, but I’m hopeful they’ll be fixed. I’ve also experienced issues with using a VPN while this app is active. However, this seems to be resolved as of right now. I guess I’m just looking forward to a more stable experience and a fully functional, as stated, app. I appreciate the offer of a refund however that is not needed. This app is quite literally, garbage. It never stays logged in, constantly requesting for one to finish the last step of setup. After completing the “last step” multiple times, it still cannot recognize the setup completion, rendering the app useless. However, the developers are still happy to collect the monthly use fee for a service that is incomplete. Perhaps it’s the Apple device, however, if so, state in your description that you are happy to charge Apple users but your product will not work on their devices.

Keeps losing connection by itself.

When the app is working, it’s pretty great. After seeing many reviews, it seems like the random disconnections is just a general issue with the VPN and this needs to get fixed asap. It happens literally every single day, when it happens, my car play freezes, the internet doesn’t work and 8/10 time, I have to restart my phone. And it doesn’t even have to do with low internet signal because it mainly happens when I’m with full 5G bars. It’s beyond frustrating, it always happens in the most inconvenient situations too. I’ve been hesitant for MONTHS to write a bad review on an app that has truly helped me through my recovery but it just doesn’t make sense why this keeps happening every single day and it gets to a point where it’s beyond frustrating and tiring. I shouldn’t have to keep turning my phone off and back on every single day so that the VPN can work again and not freeze up my whole phone.

We know the VPN could be a lot better, but we also know not having to have that VPN has been a frequent request. On your device, once the VPN has been activated, please go into Ever Accountable and then follow the steps on the screen to try the new Safari extension. This extension allows us to share all the activity generated in Safari, and we can include screenshots of that activity in the reports. The best part is, once the extension is set up, you can disable the VPN in the Ever Accountable settings (however you do still need to keep the MDM profile installed). I was hesitant about how this app and others like it are now forced to use a VPN to monitor your browsing history because some reviewers said the VPN was causing issues. So far I haven’t noticed any issues. The speed is practically just as fast (went down from 38 to 32 bps in the test I did). Time will tell if I experience the VPN drops other users have mentioned but so far I’m not noticing anything. Worth every penny protecting your soul, marriage, and family.
