Jellyspot - Smart journaling

Your private timeline

Free · In‑App Purchases

Every day, written for you. Jellyspot quietly records where you went, how you got there and with a summary of each day. No typing needed. Free to try. Your life, quietly remembered. Jellyspot is your automatic journal. It builds a timeline of where you went, what you did and the photos you took, and gives you a journal for everything else. The details you never thought to write down are still there when you need them. Install it, allow the permissions you want and forget about it. The photos already in your library fill in the past on day one. TIMELINE: EVERY DAY, WRITTEN FOR YOU • Visits and places are recorded in the background and recognised from Apple Maps • Walks, drives, rides and flights show how you got from one place to the next • Photos, steps, workouts, weather and activity rings appear on the day they happened • Each day gets a plain-language summary • Your photo library becomes moments from the years before you installed the app • Jump to any day, or open it for its map, places and entries JOURNAL: ROOM FOR EVERYTHING • Rich text, photos, scanned documents and PDFs • #tags and @mentions of the people in your life • Every entry lands on the day and place it belongs to • Take a photo straight into an entry, or pick one from your library • Apple's Journaling Suggestions and optional reminders to write SEARCH: ASK IT LIKE YOU'D ASK A FRIEND "Cafés I visited in Stockholm." "When did I last see Emma?" "What did I do last month?" • Finds the places, visits, trips, entries and photos that answer your question • Filter by place, date, person, trip and tag • With Apple Intelligence, you get the answer in a sentence, built from your own history PLACES AND TRIPS • Every place has its own history: how often you've been, when you were last there, and the entries and photos from each visit • Trips are detected automatically, with a map, a word cloud and every stop along the way • Name your own places, like a friend's flat, a summer house or a favourite bench • Look Around and nearby places from Apple Maps PEOPLE • Mention someone with an @ and they get a page with your notes and every entry they appear in • Connect people to your contacts • Face grouping finds them in your photos and runs entirely on your iPhone SIRI, SHORTCUTS AND SPOTLIGHT • "Ask Jellyspot" about your own past • "Write in Jellyspot" to start a new entry without opening the app • Everything is available in Shortcuts and Spotlight PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your timeline, journal, people and places are stored on your iPhone • There's no Jellyspot cloud, and photos are referenced, never copied • No account, no sign-up, no email address • Place recognition, trips, face grouping and image tagging run on the device • Summaries and answers use Apple Intelligence, on device or through Private Cloud Compute Every data source is optional. Location set to Always is what lets the timeline record itself, using iOS's low-power location services. Photos, Health, motion and Contacts each add more detail. Jellyspot only reads from Health and never writes to it. JELLYSPOT PRO Start with a free trial, then subscribe to Jellyspot Pro monthly or yearly.
