Uploaded photos just vanish. I opened a support ticket and the company building this app says they are limited to 3mb file size. Basically any phone in 2024 will take a larger size photo. Setting aside that this is an absurd limit and they could auto resize for you before uploading, they could at least tell you there is an issue instead of just failing silently. Also, many times when I go to open a ticket it’s showing a zoomed out map of US. Would be much better to auto zoom in to current location, or provide a button to do so. Or even pull location from photo uploaded.

Nothing happens when I click the sign in button

I’ve tried using the Somerville 311 app a number of times in the past year and it is broken. On the Details screen, the comments field is not visible, and when you tap the Create Request button a popup appears saying the comments field is required, so you cannot proceed/submit the report.

The latest review I saw said the app no longer works. They have updated it and as of this review (July 20, 2021) the app now works.I used it to report some rat sightings.Please note you need to make an Report2Gov account (you can do so through the app.) It requires using a first name, last name, email and password, and then you need to verify the email by clicking a link that is sent to your email when you register.
