This is a very high quality app. The rain sounds and the other sounds, like the thunder and cave sounds, are very relaxing. And plus, they loop perfectly. It also plays music in the background of other apps and you could mix it with audio coming from other apps (and I like how the volume controls are independent from the system volume). My complaint is that you cannot play multiple sounds at the same time. I wanted to play the rain sounds and mix it with the thunder sounds but I could only play one at a time (I'd like an update to allow mixing of the sounds). And also, I really enjoy the cave/cavern water sounds but the volume of the recording is too quiet and I could barely hear it (I would like it if the cave sound volume was boosted higher).This is one of my favorite and most used rain sounds app, so I give it 5 stars.

I have searched and searched for an actual *free* app that has continuous rain sounds. I finally stumbled upon Rainscapes and couldn’t be happier. It even continues playing if I open up another app like a game, etc. That’s a rarity to find and a plus for me because sometimes I want to play games to relax myself before bed but I like to have my rain sounds while doing so. Now I can! I highly recommend this app.

I have tried app after app, only to delete them after finding out they do nothing for me. With Rainscapes I sleep deeply and long with no interruptions in my sleep cycle. One of the things I like is that I do not have to have Rainscapes on loud. I can just barely hear it, yet I sleep so deep and am so rested the next day. Amazing little app, I would recommend Rainscapes to anyone who sleeps lightly or can't sleep deeply like they used to.

I have been trying out and listening to various rain sounds over the years and in the I would hear weird little anomalies in the recordings. That is not the case with Rainscapes, the recordings are smooth and soothing. This really helps me to sleep good at night. I highly recommend.
