Lightspeed Scanner is the mobile companion app for the Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) Point-of-Sale (POS) system. This app allows users to manage their Lightspeed product catalog, sell to customers, and handle product inventory from the convenience of a mobile phone. Lightspeed Scanner turns your device's camera into a powerful barcode reader, making it fast and easy to identify and count products from your Retail catalog. Key features of Lightspeed Scanner: • Add or edit products: Record Name, Description, Price, SKU Codes, Locations, and Product Images directly to your Lightspeed Retail catalog. • Sell from anywhere: Turn your phone into a mobile register. Accept payment via Tap to Pay for iPhone (Lightspeed Payments users only), sell On Account, or Park sales to complete them on any in-store register. • View product information: Search your product catalog and view details like price, stock levels, descriptions, and images. • Inventory management: Perform or schedule full and partial inventory counts. Create or add to supplier purchase orders and outlet transfer orders. You can also receive stock, fulfill transfers, and record inventory adjustments. For additional accuracy, inventory and orders counted on the app must be completed on the Lightspeed Retail POS system, giving managers ultimate control of inventory movements. It’s great for using for the first time. The only problem I run into while scanning products is that I have to scroll up every single time. It would be nice to have the camera option for each individual item. Just would make it 10x easier. Thank !

Great app for doing inventory and exporting to Numbers or Excel. Wold be great if this were iPad supported. Even provide front camera view to easily scan products then type. Would be really convenient if this app could generate barcodes of all the UPC scans to have a database and export to a spreadsheet with the other information.

It lets you go around and count your inventory. It does this reasonably well and the bug fixes tend to keep improving it.The primary feature I would love to see is the ability to scan an item and see how many your system thinks you should have. This would make the app significantly more useful if you have to track down one in a display or refill from the back.

Could write quite a long review. Fantastic App perfectly integrated with Vend to make this first inventory with their software by far the easiest in 25 years. Multiple counters, with multiple ways to scan input item and count. Counted 2000 SKUs in short time. Thank you

We’ve added a promotion helper when products on promotion are added to a sale. This alerts sales associates to existing promotions so they can make customers aware of promotions. Fixed issue preventing inbound inventory from being shown.
