I’ve been on a lot of sites for Diabetics, but this one is the best. It’s like Instagram/Twitter for Diabetics! It’s so great to actually speak with others who know what you’re talking about and who are perhaps going through the same thing(s). We just need to get the word out a little more about this app, for the following: need a larger more diverse group of people, for the ones who aren’t in large cities it would be nice to have more than 2-3 people just in case some want to meet up, and last the app actually needs donations since it is given out for free and this app doesn’t just run on its own. I would hate to see this app just up and disappear because they couldn’t afford to keep it running. They give so many Diabetics an outlet they wouldn’t otherwise have. That’s why I give them MY 5-STAR RATING!!

The Beyond Type 1 community is truly inspirational. These people are the kindest, most helpful, and most supportive group of diabetics I’ve ever met! I really hope everyone gets a chance to join BT1. I’ve positively come a long way by joining myself. I get to ask questions and for advice and not be ashamed by asking for help. I’ve also connected with other diabetics in my area through the Beyond Type 1 app and through the BT1 Instagram account. I’ve gotten to read articles and tips on how to better manage diabetes and #LIVEBEYOND type 1 diabetes by continuing to do the things I love. This app has helped me come a long way in thinking positively about diabetes and considering amazing opportunities that I normally wouldn’t have. Thank you Beyond Type 1 ❤️

I was turned on to this app by a friend of mine. My teenage sone is Type One. I have asked questions that have been immediately answered by multiple people, all who know first hand what myself and my son are dealing with. I've learned so much from people and in turn have, I feel, answered some other parent of T1D's questions. I love this app and check in with it daily even if I don't have a current question or concern.... maybe I could help someone. It also helps keep us up to date on new technology, studies, and so much more!!

This app is home to an amazing community of Type 1’s from all over the world. Great for sharing information, asking questions AND getting real answers, chatting and connecting with others. Most of all it offers support on those days when you need it most. I can’t say enough how awesome it is to have a place to belong without judgement or having to explain “why” all the time.
