Tracer now feels more at home in your language. 【Display improvements】 Waypoint names on Track maps, and in shared text, calendar entries, and CSV exports, could sometimes appear in an unreadable format. These—along with onboarding and a few messages—now display correctly in your language. We also fixed how dates appear around the new year. Spotted something that doesn't look quite right? Let us know anytime through in-app support.

Export your Tracks—all at once! 【Bulk GPX export for Tracks — Premium】 Export your travel memories and everyday routes without opening each log individually. Filter your log list by date range or tags to export just the Tracks you want. Bundle multiple GPX files into a single ZIP for easy saving and sharing. Share that same ZIP with your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other devices without creating it again for each destination. Check the number of files and recording dates before you start, and follow the progress as your files are created. We’ll keep expanding what you can do with Tracks. We’d love to hear your feedback and ideas through in-app support.

This update improves launch reliability on iOS 18. A compatibility issue in some iOS 18 environments could cause Tracer to close immediately after launch following an app update. This version addresses that issue. If you notice anything else, please contact us through in-app support.

Keep your everyday location history going on iOS 27. Tracer has been rebuilt with the latest development tools, with adjustments to how the app starts and resumes. 【Premium App Lock】 We’ve checked and refined authentication when returning to the app and the return to the previous screen after unlocking, so the app lock works correctly on iOS 27. 【Location Recording Tested】 Track, Pass Point, Visit, and Region Entry/Exit recording have been tested on an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 27. This includes Track recording in the background and location-triggered recording after the app’s process has ended. Settings now includes an iOS 27 feedback section. Please share your experience through the email link on that screen. Your feedback helps guide future improvements.

Tracer now speaks 12 languages! More people around the world can enjoy keeping a record of their everyday journeys. 【Support for 12 Languages】 Alongside Japanese and English, Tracer now supports Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. Browse your records and adjust settings in a language you feel at home with. Have feedback? Get in touch through in-app support. I’ll keep making Tracer more useful for your everyday life.

I optimized how tracks appear, so your recorded paths are easier to understand at a glance in the list. 【Track Display Improvements】 I refined track presentation so list items communicate each outing more clearly. For example, when Start/Goal Only is selected, track titles now read more naturally. I will keep polishing everyday clarity. If you notice anything, please reach out through in-app support.

I updated the software libraries Tracer uses to the latest verified versions, so you can keep using the app with more confidence. 【Software Library Updates】 I refreshed the libraries that power Tracer. Moving to verified, up-to-date components helps keep everyday recording steady and dependable. 【Translation Improvements】 I refined some in-app translations so they more faithfully reflect the original Japanese intent. 【App Recommendations】 I also updated the in-app section that introduces my other apps, so the information stays current. If anything feels off, please let me know from Support in the app.

We've refreshed region calendar export so it's easier to keep using after a device change. 【Region Calendar Export】 If a previously chosen calendar no longer appears in the list, you can choose a new destination. Opening the settings screen doesn't change anything on its own. The saved calendar updates only when you pick one again, or when you choose not to export. If anything feels off, please let us know from Support in the app.

We rebuilt Summary performance from the ground up, so even a fast flick through the list stays comfortable. 【Summary】 When you scroll quickly through a long daily list, maps and charts keep up without weighing the screen down. The look and the way you use it stay the same — the list just feels smoother and more settled. We’ll keep polishing the experience. If anything feels off, send a note from Support in the app.

You can now link photos and videos to your Visit and Track logs — so revisiting a place also brings back how it looked! 【Photo Linking】 From a completed Visit or Track, manually attach photos and videos from your library. Items taken during the log’s time window appear as candidates, and ones whose capture location fits the place start selected — so it’s easy to keep the moments that belong there. Photos outside the time range can still be added from your library. Linked photos also show up on the detail map and as list thumbnails, making it easier to relive the day later. Your originals stay in the Photo Library; Tracer never deletes or moves them. We’ll keep refining Photo Linking to feel even more natural. Feedback is always welcome via Support in the app.

Tracer’s cache system has been completely rebuilt to keep the app lighter and smoother, especially when you have a large location history. 【Cache System Rebuilt】 The previous external cache dependency has been replaced with an in-house system designed specifically for Tracer. Map images and summary views now use memory more efficiently, helping the app stay stable even as your records grow. 【Smoother Lists and Summaries】 We also refined how map images are generated and reused when scrolling quickly through Logs or switching through summaries. Visible cards can load more naturally, making it easier to review your daily movement history. We’ll continue improving Tracer’s reliability and everyday feel. If anything seems off, please contact us from Support in the app.

We refreshed the main record list so your daily location history is easier to scan and understand. 【Record List Updates】 Record cards, map previews, weather, memos, and tags have been refined so important details sit in a more natural place. Compact map mode now makes better use of the available space, making longer notes and tags easier to read. 【Track Recording】 Active Track recordings now stand out more clearly, with progress details such as point count and the latest recorded time. Map previews for long Track records have also been tuned to stay responsive. We also refined onboarding and internal behavior to help Tracer stay smooth even with a large record history. If anything feels off, please contact us from Support in the app.

We refined how weather information is loaded. 【Weather Information】 Weather information in record details is now loaded more deliberately, and you can fetch it when needed by choosing “Get”. We also adjusted the internal behavior to help daily location logging stay smooth and reliable. If you notice anything while using the app, please feel free to contact us from Support in the app.

Tracer now greets new users with a beautiful, guided welcome experience! We want everyone to feel confident and at ease from the very first tap. Six thoughtfully crafted screens walk you through what Tracer does, how it saves your battery, and why your data stays private — all paired with gorgeous photography. Location permissions are handled naturally as part of the flow, and if anything needs attention, a friendly notice guides you through it so no important step is missed. Once you're done, recording starts automatically — no extra switches to flip. Your everyday journeys are quietly captured from day one. Already a Tracer user? The welcome screens won't appear — everything works just as you'd expect. We're always looking for ways to make Tracer better. Drop us a line anytime through the in-app support email — your feedback means the world.

The Regions screen has been completely redesigned with a fresh, card-based layout! [A Brand-New Card Layout for Regions] The region list now features beautiful cards with integrated maps, replacing the previous plain list. You can see each region's approximate location and range at a glance — just scroll through and instantly recognize where your regions are set up. [Status at a Glance] Actively monitored regions show a green badge, and each card displays a record-count capsule. Whether you manage a handful or dozens of regions, you can quickly scan their status without opening each one. [Easier Access to Controls] Tap the menu button on any card to toggle monitoring, adjust name replacement, or delete. You can also long-press a card to bring up the same options — whichever way feels most natural to you. We're always working to make Tracer better. Have thoughts or ideas? We'd love to hear from you — reach out anytime via the in-app support email.

Refined the entire color palette for a better Dark Mode experience. [Optimized Colors for Dark Mode] The accent color has been redesigned specifically for dark backgrounds. Buttons, links, and navigation elements now stand out clearly, reducing eye strain during extended use. Light Mode colors have been fine-tuned as well, ensuring a beautiful look in any lighting. [A More Cohesive Visual Experience] Unified color tones across every tab — from Settings to the event list and summaries. Switching between screens now feels seamless, with a consistent visual identity tying the whole app together. A large number of Tracer users prefer Dark Mode, and we're committed to making it look even better over time. Notice anything we could improve? Drop us a line through the in-app support email — we'd love to hear from you.

Improved multilingual display throughout the app. [Translation Quality] Fixed several screens — including event creation and export — where text wasn't properly switching to your device language. Conditional labels now display correctly in all supported languages. How's everything working for you? We'd love your feedback — reach out anytime through the in-app support email.

We've improved the Footsteps Controller for a smoother experience. Settings Screen — Improved The settings screen opened from the Footsteps Controller would close on its own whenever you changed an option. Now it stays open so you can adjust multiple settings at once. Hidden Controller — Improved Hiding the Footsteps Controller no longer leaves an empty space behind. Other Minor layout refinements throughout the app. We're always working to make things better. If you notice anything, reach out through the support email in the app — we'd love to hear from you.

A big thank you for all the wonderful feedback on our Liquid Glass redesign! We've carefully reviewed every suggestion and addressed all the improvements we could. "Record Footsteps" Bar — Layout Fix We've refined the layout of the "Record Footsteps" bar at the bottom of the screen. The text, icons, and toggle inside the bar are now properly centered, fixing a subtle alignment issue where the content appeared slightly shifted upward. The bar now looks cleaner and more polished in the Liquid Glass environment. We'll keep listening and improving, one update at a time. If you spot anything, drop us a line through the support email in the app — we always love hearing from you.
