If you’re a parent, don’t make your kid do this without their consent. Trust me it is terrible. I recommend only doing one topic, two or more is just too stressful. Especially if your child is handling school and wants to do after school activities. For example, I wanted to get piano lessons, but I couldn’t because of the ruthless amount of homework I was given by the Kumon Instructors and school! Want to do a after school activity/club because it actually piques your interest? YOU CAN’T. The institute really needs to go back and correct their mistakes. Plus, it’s way too expensive for how bad the teaching style is. I don’t learn by just be given a packet of paper. You got to actually verbally speak to me, and help me. This whole “Kumon Method” is really terrible.

Kumon is litteraly child abuse any after school activities canceled don’t get their on the time you usually get their instead you get yelled at and then they yell at the parents saying the kids have to finish the work even if they have a sport practice or if they have a game also one time my child was in their hungry it was like 5 they STILL CANT GO HOME AND THEN ONE TIME MY KID CRIED BECAUSE OF HOW HUNGRY THEY WERE AND THEY WERE STARVING. The peop,e laugh at u when u get in trouble

Never will I regret spending the money or the time on Kumon for our girls. If you start from pre k or kindergarten they will never know life without it. There is another review that paints it as a daunting task? It’s 10 mini worksheets front and back a day. When u very first start out it should take roughly 20 min if you only do 1 subject.(For us it was math) The harder the math problems get as you grow the less work sheets. For reference our daughter is currently in 2nd grade doing long division so now she only has 3 worksheets but it’s still only 20 min. The method is full proof, has been for decades. Pro tip; don’t stop just because school lets out for the summer. Continue on year round and you will be stunned at the advancement in your child compared to others.

This is horrible. First of all, the instructors favor little kids too much. Next, they don’t teach stuff like geometry, statistics, area, Pythagorean Theorem. Trust me, never go there. I could write a book about all the reasons why you shouldn’t go there.
