This review is about the app only. Since the last update the app has not been working correctly. After an event is viewed, upon return to the main menu, the layout is disorganized and and does not return to proper display. A feature called “Load More” which was added in the last update only works on the current date. If there is an important event from the previous day or days one might need for evidence, it is currently not retrievable. The “Load More” feature does not work for previous days and is useless. Before the last update, the app was simple and efficient to use and worked flawlessly. Now it is very frustrating to use. I have called Deep Sentinel multiple times over the past several months to report the issues. Each time I was told the engineers were working on it and that a fix would be included in a future update. Still the issues persists.*UPDATE* The app is finally updated and fixed. The functionality and ease of use is what I have experienced before and come to expect. Thank you Deep Sentinel!

Most companies either offer you monitoring that has to do with sensors or cameras that you monitor yourself. Deep Sentinel breaks the mold and has great trained security specialists that actually watch your property and can respond. The system and set-up is wonderful and my interactions with Deep Sentinel staff have all been top notch. This system gives me a great deal of relief, knowing that there are trained people that have my back at all hours of the day. I’ve had ADT and others, and you just can’t beat the value or quality of this system. Hands down the best move you can make.

We are one of the original customers and I can assure you greed and outsourcing has obliterated the integrity of this service. They will not do anything to help us with faulty equipment unless we pay 300% more than what we’re paying now. That is NOT an exaggeration, I promise! We have been working on remedying the problem and the only time we can talk with a representative is AFTER 8 pm. There are no normal business hours for US customers. Then there’s this horrible app! It will not play back video, there is just a spinning wheel, then a message that the video is not ready yet…a video from TEN hours ago! How on earth is it not ready yet?!! And that message pops up for ALL videos! You can not connect (live) to a camera in a timely manner - it takes 30 seconds in some instances! I’m not sure where the disconnect is - the app or the service, but either way it’s unacceptable. Please do yourself a favor & choose a different service! This one has unfortunately turned to complete garbage. And when I say unfortunately - I mean it because when we first got our system, it was the absolute best, top of the line. We are gifting ourselves a new system for Christmas!

Legacy customer here. I’m supposed to rate the app only but despite being promised my rates would never change, they are 300% higher now. I didn’t even upgrade to their new DS2 hardware to avoid the new pricing but guess I got hit with it anyway. The app is very basic. The push alerts are helpful… but sorting event history isn’t straightforward. Also, there is often a lag or incomplete data / video in the app. I’m told it is “syncing” with their cloud server and will be available shortly. It sometimes never shows up even though I’m supposed to be able to access the video locally. I’ve never been able to. The app supports iOS 17 but it’s lacking a lot of features that other apps have. If they didn’t have live security guard monitoring, not sure I’d use the service.
