Very nice app that is cleanly designed and has great options for organizing and cataloging information. I have a small collection I’ve inventoried with this so far and have run into no issues. Really enjoying the analytics on purchasing and pricing. It also will make a great resource if I ever decide to sell a part of my collection down the road as all pertinent information is stored, in detail, in one place. If I was to improve the app, I wish there was an option to adjust the background color, maybe something like a “dark mode” instead of all bright white. But that’s purely preference and idk how difficult it would be to add something like that.Overall, if you’re looking to organize and record information on your growing collection this app is a great choice. Be aware that you can only add 3 firearms with the free version and then would need to upgrade to the full version for $4.99 to add more. This seems like a bargain given the design and functionality of this app. Saw some critical reviews complaining that charging for an app is “un-American” haha considering yourself entitled to someone else’s labors seems pretty un-American. “There’s no such thing as a free lunch”. What better way to support the firearms community, and ensure we continue to see quality solutions to our needs, than by supporting someone else who shares our passion and purchasing their work for less than you’ll probably spend on lunch next Monday.

All data is stored on your device. It is your choice of whether you back it up or not.If you don’t want to use iCloud or iTunes, I included iTunes File Sharing so that you can keep a copy of the databases on your computer. That way you’ll have a copy of the data in case you have an issue with your device and can’t restore from backup.For details on your options for backing up your data, go to the Options & Support section of the app and select Instructions for Backing up Data. Best app to keep track of my collection & stats

I have used this app for past year or so. I am able to track all purchases with serial numbers and prices in one place. Photo capability for items and for range documentation is very useful. For legal reasons I like to keep track of all my training and education both in words and photos. I have over 20,000 rounds documented in the app. Also, instructions were very clear on how to back up files to computer via ITunes file sharing. This makes me feel more secure in case Iphone is lost or damaged. I have almost 2GB of Dara backed up. Further, support is unbelievably good. I had a few device issues and developer has responded always in a timely fashion and fixed some minor display issues. I highly recommend signing up for premium plan for 99cents/month. Very reasonable and the documentation saved could well provide the difference in defending use of force case. As a physician, retired x 2 years, I truly understand the importance of documentation in providing proof of training and education and practice. Old phrase: if it isn’t documented, then it has not been done!!Great app, very worth the price. I am a very detail oriented person and very persnickety. Get this app and you will not regret it. Be safe.

Best app to keep track of my collection & stats

Nice app…but why a subscription?

I’m having many problems with this app. I do not mind paying for someone’s hard work…state your price, if it’s good, I’ll pay it…but then I own it. All this subscription crap means one is just renting the software. You take the time, log in your data…and it’s gotcha…you’re invested in their software…with your time. Ask yourself. ...what added value do I get with a subscription? Plus, while the developer states.. your data is not associated with you (Right…and COVID vaccines work)… but your gun and ammo inventory data is collected…where is it sent…and why is it collected? With all the gun grabbing going on, only an idiot would voluntarily compile their most sensitive gun info and allow it to be sent off-site. There are other apps which are totally free…and your data remains on your device. I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes out that the FBI or ATF is providing funding for this app (just my opinion).

I value the privacy of everyone that downloads this app. Which is why I don’t collect any of the information you add to the app. I don’t like it when those “free” apps collect my information, so I wouldn’t do that to you. Next, I would like to clarify that the app is not associated with the FBI or ATF in any way and does not receive any funding from external sources, as was falsely suggested in your review. If this were the case, I would be able to offer the app for free, just like those other apps you mentioned that are available for free. Additionally, all data entered into the app is stored on the user's device, not on a server. Users have the option to back up their data to iCloud, but this is entirely their choice. The app does not have the ability to collect the data you enter in the app, let alone share it with any external parties.And finally, in regards to the subscription model, with Apple continually updating the iOS, updates need to be made to the app for it to continue to work.The subscription model enables me to continue to provide ongoing updates and support, ensuring that the app continues to function as intended and remains compatible with new devices and operating systems.

I would also like to see a place for putting in license info, such as concealed carry permit or FFL License info with expiration dates and then the ability for notifications showing upcoming expirations of those. Add those features and this app would be perfect!
