Like a growing number of people, I don't have a landline and have little use for a fax. I found myself in a situation requiring a fax and ended up trying the usual online faxing solutions .. to no avail. I did a quick online search, then a quick App Store search and found this little gem. It may not be loaded with fluff, but it does exactly what it suppose to, it painlessly delivers faxes without a phone number. There’s a small delay between completion and delivery (in my case 3-5 minutes). You get a little desktop notification upon delivery and can view your history in Window > Faxes. It was worth the $5 just to get past the hassle of the day, but certainly more than worth it to have a fax at my disposal indefinitely. I read a couple reviews mentioning trying to send multiple pages, just combine everything with your cover page into a single pdf and you’re good to go. No complaints at all, but a useful addition would be to automatically clear out the attachment and phone number after a successful send and maybe a detailed delivery report, in the event you needed to substantiate delivery for official reasons. … Regardless, great solution, thanks Matt!

Bought this app about two years ago and I have used it just a handfull of times but it always saves the day whenever I need to send a fax to those organizations that still use fax machines. Simple to use and quick, it will easily prevent you from having to find an office store to send a fax especially if there is some deadline looming. I will pass on a tip I found out about later that another reviewer also mentioned: you can get a little more info on your sent faxes by going to the Simplefax menu and click "window>faxes" . This will give you another window with some basic info on when the fax was sent/delivered and the number of pages but not much more. Wish this part of the app was just a bit more robust but overall well worth the purchase!

Fax is SUCH an outdated thing, so it's SUPER rare I need to send one. Unfortunately not everyone accepts scans via e-mail, and sometimes for privacy or other legitamate purposes fax is the only allowed option. We don't have a phone line at home etiher, so this has been the way. This was WELL worth the investment as there's NO subscription, and it allows up to 20 faxes a month, which honestly I maybe do 1 or 2 every few months. It confirms sending, and so fare everyone has received. I usually make the cover letter as a pdf in google docs, and then upload that along with everything that needs to be faxed all at once. It allows you to send several pages/files in one shot. Highly recommend!

I was thinking I may have missed something because it was so easy. I like that it gives you the option to see that the message has been delivered, so you can confirm that it got where it needed to go. I also like that they don't track you or share any information anywhere. Faxes are more secure - the last thing you want it to use a more secure format and then have your info shared - almost defeats the purpose of using that option.Definitely glad I made the decision to purchase this app.
