It’s great for Solo play or just to practice your skills.

I am really enjoying using this app. Solo playing the ‘Heroes of the Aturi Cluster’ using this app. It works great and I like that I don’t need to reference the ship cards since all the steps are shown in the app. It gives an element of surprise as the ships don’t always maneuver as you plan out so makes it more exciting. The only real problem I have with it is that it doesn’t save the list. I noticed that the list always deletes overnight or after long periods of not using the app. Also if the phone reboots or anything that would wipe the memory. I know it’s a minor inconvenience to redo the list but for having to pay $2 in order to use the full list, it’s keeping me from giving a full five stars. It would be nice to have a few more features such as showing a full list in one display, saving the list (for future plays), and I didn’t see any options for the epic huge ships. I’m still trying things out so if those options are in there or if they are ever added in, then this app would deserve a full five stars. I hope it gets updated for X-Wing 2.0 (but still have the option for 1.0) because I plan to keep using his app for a long time. Perhaps there will be an Armada app one day? :) Thanks!

Listen, no, it’s not as good as having your buddy over for drinks, unhealthy snacks, and flying some ships around, but it’ll get the job done. The app isn’t perfect; for instance it doesn’t know where obstacles are, or exactly where other ships may be, which leads to a few more collisions than normal. In those cases you give the AI some wiggle room and you make a better decision on their behalf. The interface makes sense and it has allowed me to play the game under quarantine which is all I wanted from such a thing.

After not having anyone to play with for a while, i finally downloaded this app. The ai was pretty great and rather challenging. Since you tell the AI where you’ve moved to, it’s very difficult to out maneuver higher Pilot Skill AI, but an interesting challenge non the less. Now, i play 2.0 and it seems like the only thing the app takes into account is ps, so it’s pretty easy to adjust. However, it would be super cool to see this app updated to 2.0. I would gladly pay 1.99 for the full app.
