Exclusive to Goodyear Authorized Dealers, the Goodyear GTRACS App provides the user with the ability to add/edit work orders and mark tires as delivered while at a customer’s location. The GTRACS App will benefit dealers, fleets, and sales staff by providing accurate timing of tires being picked up/delivered, emailing work orders to the customer, and better tire tracking overall. This app requires an active account for authentication.

Decent idea...horrible execution

The app has some impressive features, and after a few updates works okay. Shout out to the developers who worked hard on this and listened to my feedback as it was rolled out. The problem with this, is the severe corporate oversight of the whole program. In the off chance you are listening, Goodyear, slowing production by 300% by forcing your underlings to do data entry on a smartphone just to look cool is not okay. This app will never save any center time, headache, or money. It will never come close to the efficiency of computer data entry. A word to the wise, if you want to look like a “modern” company, LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES. That’s what successful companies do. What looks better? Happy employees, saved time, and saved money? Or low morale, and slowed production, but with a fancy looking app?Change and innovation are always needed, but they have to be IMPROVEMENTS. Instead, this app is a hindrance. Plain and simple. In my opinion, Goodyear is not in a position to shoot themselves in the foot again so soon.

It would make CTSC locations more efficient and help with casing management if there was an option to scan current casing tags currently in inventory at each separate location that isn’t currently attached to a retread work order to create new work orders via mobile app to make store stock cap and casing orders for each CTSC location rather than manually inputting the data into the system . It would be helpful to add wheel refinishing option where wheels can be added with barcodes like casings/retreading to help with inventory management and generate work orders for the plants processing wheels like the BASys app has integrated into their app . - Blake R CTSC #255

Needs a feature to select the correct customer. For example if you search “Eagle Tire” multiple identical options appear with no distinction. Would be nice to be able to search customers assigned to FTTS’s like in the CTSC app or at least by center number or address of customer. Also a fingerprint unlock feature would be great. Password required in all caps which is inconvenient. Needs a forgot password option.

I did the latest update today and the app will not allow the ship to field to be filled out to go to the next screen. It says that the wrong info is put in. So I selected from the choice and it still won’t work.
