The Heka SMBP app is optimized for the effective use of self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) monitoring in clinical practice to diagnose and treat patients with hypertension.
The Heka SMBP app receives and displays diastolic and systolic blood pressure measurements, as well as heart rate data, from wirelessly connected blood pressure monitors such as A&D Medical's multi-user BP kiosks (for use in clinics, community centers, offices, etc.) and personal BP monitors (for at home, on-the-go, and remote patient monitoring). Manual BP entry is also supported
The Heka SMBP app is part of Heka Health's HIPAA compliant, HITRUST certified, Connected Hypertension Management Platform. The Platform integrates clinically validated protocols and trusted 3rd-party content such as the American Medical Association's SMBP Monitoring Program and M.A.P. Framework. It also enables the secure transmission of patients' SMBP data into electronic health records (EHR) through a unique methodology that fits seamlessly with healthcare professionals' existing workflows.
The Heka SMBP app leverages Apple's CareKit to gain access to features and interfaces such as the tracking of BP trends and measurement adherence.
