BoneBox™ - Dental Pro OVERVIEW BoneBox™ - Dental Pro is a real-time 3D dental education and patient communication tool, featuring detailed, anatomically correct dental models developed by a team of anatomists, certified medical illustrators, animators and programmers. The models in this app depict normative models of adult (secondary) dentition. The dental models are based on extensive research and voxel data obtained from various diagnostic imaging modalities such as CT and MRI, as well as actual dental specimens. The visual style of the 3D models has been carefully developed to make fine detail and nuances of form easy to see. The BoneBox™ - Dental Pro app is appropriate for use by secondary students, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as medical professionals. FEATURES The BoneBox™ - Dental Pro app utilizes true real-time 3D, which allows the user to place the detailed dentals models in any position and zoom in to explore all of the anatomical details. The user can explore dental anatomy by selectively turning on or off different parts of the anatomy. Selecting an individual tooth will allow the user to explore the features of that tooth in greater detail, and at any time a user may use a three-finger pinch to open and close the mouth. The index allows the user to explore over 80 different topics including the different types of teeth, numbering systems, dental orientation and many other anatomical features. Quizzing: The user can take the quiz to test their knowledge of dental anatomy.
