About the Listen & Talk
Listen & Talk (LAT) is a speech generating software for individuals with complex communication needs (CCN). It can assist the individuals with CCN to express himself/herself needs and thought. The main functions of LAT are as follows:
1. It provides a sample overlayer to facilitate the AAC professional to create a new overlayer.
2. It provides three different display modes which include the fixed display, express display and context display to help the individuals with CCN to communicate with their partners.
3. The number of each overlayer can be designed from 1 to 36 locations, so that the AAC professional can design the overlayer according to CCN needs and capabilities.
4. The AAC symbols can be selected from the built-in symbolic set, live photo, photo library, other Apps and the internet. The picture can also use the built-in picture tool to capture the parts according to user needs and wants.
5. Its voice output has synthetic voice (including Chinese, English, Thai Vietnamse and Japanese) and digitize voice. At the same time, it also provides voice prompt to help the AAC users to confirm their messages.
6. It has a history menu. Therefore, the AAC users can express the message directly from the history menu by clicking on the sentence which was created from the communication with previous communicative partner, without re-construct the sentence.
7. It provide iCloud backup after unlock full function.
8. It provide more than 1000 communication symbols after unlock full function.
9. "Toggle Control" function, which provides a scanning mechanism built into the App.
10. User interface support: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese.
