Celebrating 10 years of Memento! Version 5.0 is our biggest update ever, rebuilt from the ground up with new layouts, Links, Search, due dates and priorities.
Memento is the simple, fast reminders app for people who actually rely on their reminders. There's no clutter and no learning curve, just your reminders, showing up at the right moment.
Whether it's errands, groceries, chores or everyday to-dos, Memento makes it quick to jot something down and easy to remember what matters. It works with the reminders you already have in Apple's Reminders, synced through iCloud.
Everything you need, nothing you don't:
• Type naturally: "Call the plumber tomorrow at 9" sets the alert, list and priority as you write
• Time and location alerts that remind you at the right moment or place
• Due dates that nudge you on the day, at the time you choose
• Priorities you can spot at a glance
• Lists with their own colors and icons
• Three layouts, Minimal, Peek and Expanded, with reminders as a list or as cards
• Scheduled shows what's coming up by day, week and month. Drag a reminder to reschedule it
• Links keeps every saved web page in one place, with previews
• Search finds any reminder by its title, notes, list or date, even with a typo
• Sort by hand, date or priority, with filters throughout
• Actionable notifications, so you can get things done without opening the app
• Widgets, plus Siri and Shortcuts that show your reminders as cards you can check off
• Send reminders to friends in Messages
• Keyboard shortcuts, dark mode and full VoiceOver support
• iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro
Memento is fast, energy-efficient and private.
• No tracking
• No accounts required
• Optional anonymous crash reports, which you can turn off in Settings. Never your reminders.
Your reminders stay on your devices and sync securely through iCloud.
Since 2016, Memento has been made by one independent developer who believes reminders should be calm, quick and reliable. If that sounds like you, Memento is built for you.
With the overhaul to Reminders in iOS 13 I went back to using Reminders, which meant I also checked out Memento again. I love all the little features in this app, plus it’s gorgeous. The overall layout is stunning, and I’m one of those people who likes my apps to look appealing. I also like the ways in which you can customize options for Alerts and Notifications, and that these settings quickly sync across devices. My one concern is getting reminders with a due date, but no specified time, to show up in the For You tab. I have a lot of reminders for household and teaching tasks that are due on a day, but don’t need a time. I hope the next version addresses this issue. I know that Good Task and Fantastical have worked around the issue by simply having those reminders show up as having a 12AM time, but I fortunately don’t get an alert at 12AM!!Thank you for some beautiful and powerful software. It’s like getting the power and style of Things but built onto the built Reminders framework!

Thank you so much for the review! Showing reminders with a due date in For You is definitely one the list of things to do!
Adding some features.

Loving how beautifully designed this app is and how it makes me excited to look at my reminders! Would love to see the ability to add/substract days/hours/mins more seamlessly than creating presets. I've used Due for ages and while I like the look and feel of Memento more, I miss being able to add days/hrs/mins to my reminders quickly. When I set a present to +1 hour, the app adds one full hour but does not allow adding more than that by clicking the preset. To make a time edit that does not have a preset, you have to open the time/date wheel, which is cumbersome. Also, would like to see gestures implemented (e.g. create a new reminder by pulling down on the screen vs. having to reach up to the + button). I'd love to be able to fully switch over to Memento but these are the small (very convenient) things I like about an app like Due. Appreciate you, keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll try and incorporate your requests in a future version!
There’s a new reminder in town!!

It takes a certain app to leave a review. It takes a unique app to take the place of another and Memento is just that! I’d been using Due for the longest to capture quick reminders because we all know own reminders app is a joke. However Memento uses its foundation and puts on a polished and robust feel to make it my new go to. Future Update Add-ons:* Please fix: an easier way to access notes* Make the the dark app icon appearance to be TRUE BLACK especially for us oled users! * When marking a completed reminder, have the app automatically initiate an action (call, text, visit website) before completed * Need this... more URL Schemes to launch a new reminder quickly when not using Siri * Clean up notification pop up instead of time presets just on top of each other* Ability to change layout on Apple Watch (give me stacks so I can see more)* Ability to edit a reminder in Apple Watch * Ability to create a “new” reminder in Apple Watch using pre-assigned templates (time and location)*Attachments anyone? PDF/jpeg (now we’re talking)This may seem like a lot and yes it’s the small stuff, but for a power user it makes life easier. All that said and done this STILL beats out everything so hats off to you dev. It’s a dull place in the App Store and you my friend deserve accolades. By the way this went from #76 when downloaded to #6 the next day. It’s getting lots of looks and play and I can honestly say I would pay upwards of 4.99 to 5.99 and still be happy! We start adding major Apple Watch features Its jumping to 9.99. You get 1 app for three devices! Get yours dev!

Amazing reminder app

I believe this app is a must have for those who need an reminder app to quickly add new reminders as well as take a quick glance at everything they have planned for the day. Very fluid and smooth app. A couple things that I believe would take the app over the top would be a drag option from the main screen to be able to quickly add a new reminder to which ever list instead of having to press the + sign in the top left hand corner. That would make it quicker to add new reminders. I would also include natural language support to make adding a task or time of the task more fluid. Outside of that I believe this app is a must have if you own an iPhone.

Thanks for the review! I’ll see what I can do 🎉
• Speak a reminder from the Lock Screen, Control Center or the Action button, without opening the app
• Copy and paste reminders
• Siri and Shortcuts now show your reminders as cards you can check off right there
• New Get Scheduled Reminders action: ask Siri what's coming up for your overdue and upcoming reminders
• Type naturally in the Share sheet and Messages too: times, places, lists and priority are picked up as you write
• Return now saves your reminder, and Done above the keyboard puts the keyboard away
• Picking a list for a new reminder is quicker, in a sheet that closes as you choose
• Lists that stay on one device, or can't have location alerts, now explain why with a simple ⓘ instead of warnings
• Location alerts work when you share only some of your contacts, with a quick way to share more
• Fixes and polish throughout
