So the bottom line is to have all of your data and take your time and do it right. You cannot program the device when it’s hooked up to the stereo. All wires except for the power wire have to be disconnected. It has to be flashed properly before the new stereo will ever turn on. After you do it a time or two, it actually makes a lot of sense and works great.

This app just doesn’t work, tried multiple times to flash the rr2 and it fails every time! So when they issue an update for your vehicle, you have to pull out the module and connect to a laptop to update. For the cost of all this, it is unacceptable. Won’t connect for initial flash via Bluetooth. Packaging, device and instructions do not indicate where device serial number can be found. App brings up serial number that matches nothing on device. Is that from my previous RR2 long gone? If it doesn’t connect via Bluetooth the extra money spent on RR2 is wasted.
