The BrainBaseline: Accuracy in Verbal Symbols Swap application is part of BrainBaseline's ongoing effort to improve tools related to cognitive health. This app explores the ability of voice recognition software to accurately measure voice-based inputs on cognitive tasks.
An important issue facing populations at-risk for cognitive decline is the loss of fine motor control. As such, using a touch-based input to gather data during a cognitive exam can skew results and make software unusable. Our goal is to replace touch-based inputs with voice recognition inputs.
This app is available to all people in the United States on the iTunes store, whether you are healthy or experiencing cognitive decline. If you decide you would like to use the app, please download the app and follow the instructions in the application.
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
