Helpful

I’m basically a beginner, and the app is very helpful so far in reviewing and confirming what hiragana and katana that I do and do not yet know well enough. It apparently covers kanji in small bits based on the N5 system for the Japanese language knowledge test, which sounds like it is also excellent for learning at least some of the kanji one should know when working to speak Japanese fluently. Remember: it’s more like a flash card review, and it is excellent in drilling what you are struggling with, but it’s not good enough on its own. It’s a very good supplement and review.

Good for building up

I’m finding each “kanji” app I end up using is great in its own way. This one is great with helping you build up a stack of memory points by introducing one or two new ones at a time, so you can go away and come back without “starting over”. It remembers where you were when you stopped before.

Suggestion

I really like this app and I’m about to buy the full version. I’d really like it if there was feature where I could choose a select few words that I could test myself on them specifically.
Also the hiragana under the kanji that shows up after you select your answer is helpful. I like to write things down when I study and I feels like it comes and goes a little too fast.
But hey that’s just me overall I think the app is super helpful and I love the dark themed mode (cause I study at night very often)
