Convenient But Not Perfect
Nice to have a weather forecast right on the desktop..
Problems- when I set the hotspot to move the icon, and then go to the icon on the DT, I can't move the icon out of the way... solution- put a minimize or a maximize button on the icon like every other page so I can not be looking at it all day long...
Don't particularly like having to open the app from the app folder to see the rest of the information... otherwise, it will do... my iPhone weather app is a whole lot smarter....
Terribly annoying
If you don't want it to pop up every single day asking you to buy it, don't bother. It's ok otherwise, but not great. I do like seeing the temperature in the menu bar, but I can get that with other apps. I kind of like it on my desktop, but the temperatures are backwards. Usually the high temperature for the day is on the left, not the right. It's continually annoying this way too. One of the smaller desktop options has horrible colors--who wants tacky colors on their desktop? The red for (low?) tempertures doesn't even make sense. I'll probably find a different app as they don't even let you get used to it before paying for it because of how obnoxious it is in popping up when you are doing something all the time. Whenever I use it I just feel like it isn't desinged well. On the positive side, it's really encouraged me to want to make my own app, so I can make it how I want it without extra stuff I don't want.
Weather Widget Live Is Awesome!
I don’t understand all the negativity with this app. I installed it and I’ve been experimenting with different options and found one that was just right for my screen. I also knew that viewing the widget on your desktop all the time wasn’t going to happen because it is a “workspace” and anytime a window opens up, its going to block it just a many do… unless you’re one of the fortunate individuals able to afford multiple computer screens where you have it showing on one of those “FREE” screens, you might as well be prepared to keep shrinking or moving your windows around. But I haven’t had any issues and I think this Weather Widget Live App is so Awesome and does what it states!!
