So don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing app, but my only issues with it is that it’s very limited with its stances and punches and stuff, heck you can’t even choose if you want offense or defense (but that’s excusable because offensive karate isn’t something that’s common) so basically like the title says, good but limited.

I am a student of the style that the app attempts to teach, that being Shorin Ryu, traditional Okinawan karate. The app is good to review stances, blocks, strike, and katas, but it won‘t teach you them. At least not good enough. The app is a great way to review what you have already learned. However, if you are looking to learn karate I recommend going to a dojo near you and learning from a real Sensei, a Sensei will do a much better job of teaching you and making sure you donut right than any book or app.

I wanted to learn karate but it was for people that already know karate

I’ve had this app a few times and I am now going to get it and keep it because i am actually going out for karate. I’ve learned a lot of stuff from this app and I’ll be ready for official lessons! Thanks!!🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋
