Adding to the awesomeness of 8.0.0 (with a fully brandable kiosk), we've got 8.1.0 — with some nice quality of life improvements: - Re-connection back to the portal after long periods of disconnection (e.g. if the WiFi was turned off) is now more reliable. - The new inactivity timer we added (to prevent abandoned forms from preventing the next check-in) is now configurable from within the portal. - Kiosk settings can now be manually refreshed from the iPad if you think they're not quite what's in the portal. - The order of forms in your form requirements during check-in are now respected. This turns the kiosk from a utility into a small but real branding moment. We also fixed a bunch of real-world kiosk annoyances. Forms now time out if they’re left half-done, progress messages are clearer, the kiosk intro looks better, and you can see exactly how check-in is configured before you launch. Fewer “wait, what will patients see?” moments. One important fix worth calling out: if someone booked an appointment via the “I’m not here to check in” button and chose to save their details, those details could show up for the next person starting a booking. That’s obviously not ideal. It’s now fully fixed — details are always cleared for the next person, no matter what the previous patient selected. Behind the scenes, we’ve tightened up connectivity checks and refreshed our Swift packages so everything keeps running smoothly.
