Interfere is an iOS-exclusive generative drawing tool for creating mesmerising Moiré patterns, interference structures, entangled geometries, and algorithmic artworks. Instead of drawing lines manually, you shape evolving geometries through an interactive generative system. Add and move control points across the canvas while the engine continuously generates layered variations, emergent structures, and flowing interference patterns. Interfere combines tactile interaction with controlled randomness, allowing every composition to evolve in unexpected ways while remaining fully explorable and editable. Features: • Create generative Moiré and interference patterns • Control line density, curvature, randomness, spacing, and thickness • Move, add, and remove control points in real time • Export high-resolution JPG images and vector graphics • Continue your work in Illustrator, Photoshop, or 3D software • Designed for artists, designers, illustrators, tattooists, and experimental creators Interfere can also be used as an educational and exploratory tool for studying interference phenomena, optical illusions, repetition, and emergent visual structures inspired by mathematics, geometry, and generative art. – Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Interfere creates mathematically precise black-and-white patterns from interlocking, flowing, and twisting sine waves and Lissajous curves. Added vertices extend the shapes and can be dragged to fold lines back on themselves. Designs can be saved as high-resolution images or exported as scalable vectors. Although the app looks simple, its waveforms are surprisingly useful for logos, text art, ceramic decoration, fashion design, and more. Interfere-generated figures are especially valuable to me as reference images for AI art applications used to prototype ideas.

Interference is quite genius.

The recent bug fix & the new ability to create curved lines takes Interference to a unique aesthetic place.

Hard to use

The Real Uncle Vinnie
Needs a tutorial. Not at all intuitive. Screen is cut off one third to the right. No undo, redo, or reset options apparent. Nice idea but rendered rather useless without the basics.

I do like it but...

It’s kinda useless without there being a transparent layer option.
