I got the answers I was looking for!

Dr. Padilla was really nice, and she answered my questions perfectly! See, I have an ankle sprain, and it’s healing up, but I was wondering when I could get on with my life. Well, at about 5:00 A.M. this morning, I found out the answer! It does cost some money for a Video Visit, and they don’t take anything but Quartz for insurance, but I was fortunate enough to have the $49 on a card to pay for the VV right now and it was worth every cent! I think it would be better if they took Medicaid for those times I just can’t pay, but since I was able to pay this time, it went well. And, in case anyone out there is wondering, she said I can go outside sans crutches today as long as I’ve got my foot wrap and don’t overdo it, and that I should be all healed up very soon! 😀

Quick and easy appointment but no insurance billing

I was seen within 5-6 minutes of my request. I recently moved from Boston to WI 2 months ago and needed a vital prescription refill. I don’t have a PCP or mental health practitioner, yet. The PCP wait time is one year from now. Fortunately, I had a letter from my psychiatrist detailing my history and treatment plan. I was able to get my refill easily. The PA-C went through my entire chart to make sure my records were correct. She sent a note to the welcome of my new insurance provider about helping me find a PCP because ongoing care could be compromised. I have used telehealth for over 5 years and this experience was as good (somewhat better) than any I’ve had previously.

The biggest problem is that the insurance verification system was offline so I had to pay $67 to be seen and will have to get reimbursed. Fortunately, I have an HSA so this wasn’t a barrier to receiving care but it could be for others.

Child video visit

We had a wonderful visit with Dr. Gregory. We were able to speak to and see him in less than 10 minutes - signing up for app included. Being able to upload photos for him to review prior to the visit and him having access to her files was extremely helpful. We will definitely be using this option again!
