I (Anna Chase ,29 yrs old, female) work for FLVS were I am a Spanish teacher. My students need to be able to record there-selfves speeching in Spanish for mulituple assiments for a grade. These assignments are worth a big part of their overall grade. My students often have a hard time uploading video from their phones and what not, so we have started useing this app. Very recently this app has gone downhill with upgrading ads, spans, freezing up, ect. I am very disappointed in what Voice Memos has become. I will no long be telling my students to use this app for assignments. That is why I give this app one star. I do NOT recommend.

I downloaded this app too quickly without reading the reviews because I was at my school’s Christmas concert and there were some special numbers I wanted to capture. I recorded the first one just fine. However, there was nothing that told me that I could only save one recording without subscribing. That was fine but when I went to subscribe and pay, the app shut down and I lost the recording before I could save it. That particular recording was important to me because one of my friends who has retired had come back to play with the choir as a surprise.

I tried the app before trying to record what I needed and it worked fine (saved as an audio file), but when I recorded the important 30 minute interview, the file did not save. During the interview the time I had recorded showed on the screen, and when I finished, I clicked stop and save. The file was not in my computer. DO NOT TRUST THIS WITH IMPORTANT RECORDINGS!!
