Depth Background Eraser opens Portrait mode photos that were taken using the dual cameras on iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X, and uses the depth information stored in the photo to let you remove the background extremely quickly by simply swiping a slider to set the cut-off point. You can preview the resulting image for free and then once you're happy with it you can purchase an upgrade to enable you to export it as a transparent PNG file. You can use that file as-is, or import it into your favorite image editing apps to refine the results and apply whatever creative effects you like. For the best results, try using images taken in bright lighting conditions (preferably outdoor daylight) and with the photo framed so that the ground isn't visible immediately underneath the foreground subject that you want to isolate. Feedback is very welcome. Please email jon@neverdontplay.com. I aim to respond to all support questions within one working day.
