Great app until...
Let me start off by saying I love this app. It provides great workouts that don’t use any equipment. I like how easy it is to follow the person on the screen. Now the reason I gave it three stars is I will do a workout that says it will burn 77 calories but then when I’m done it says I burned 178 calories. I know there is no way a 13 minute low intensity workout could burn that many calories. When I first got the app a couple months ago this didn’t happen. Now every time a do a workout this happens. I have tried deleting the app and re-downloading it but it still does that. It’s not a huge problem I can still do the workouts just fine, however, it’s annoying that in my history it looks like I burn more calories than I did. I would still recommend the app if you don’t care about the calories count being accurate.
The people at Keep fixed the calorie issue! Now all my workouts burn the calories it says they’re going to burn in the beginning. So now I change my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Now I would definitely recommend this app to anyone.
If you need help working out this app IS FOR YOU!
This app has lots of timed workouts. I am a beginner and had no idea what I was doing and this app walked me through what to do how to do it and how many/long to do. I want to get an hour workout in so usually I will do a 20 minute HIIT training , a 20 minute abs training, and 20 minutes of legs/arms for whatever day it is. Each week I will repeat the same trainings but add reps or seconds on to challenge myself and so I don’t run out of trainings to watch, so far there’s still plenty of workouts I haven’t tried yet. There are premium workouts but I haven’t felt the need to use those over the other free ones available. They also have the option to look up exercises by body part, so if you want more full body exercises to learn they have them all in a list with what body parts they help and how to do them. You can link your Facebook and join challenges like pushups, crunches, etc., to help motivate you to achieve better results! AND ALL THIS IS FREE! So no regrets in downloading !!
Good app for workout at my own pace
This is a nice app for people who are on busy schedule and needs to exercise quick without necessarily making the trip to the gym. Most of the exercises do not require gym equipment and is easy to do inside the apartment as long as you have a yoga mat. Some might require a dumbbell but still, I think is apartment friendly.
I’ve tried their plans and it’s also good to have exercises pre-set/mixed so I feel like all my muscles are getting worked up different days of the week.
The only problem I’ve had so far, which is also the reason I’m not giving 5 stars is sometimes the app doesn’t save your data.
I completed my training for the day, it showed me as completed, yet somehow when I go back to the main screen, it doesn’t have the green circle to truly prove I finished the workout. This has happened to me multiple time this week and is very frustrating. You’d want to get credit for your hard work but it somehow just don’t sync.
