We revamped our NDT X-ray Toolbox as a foundation for upcoming exciting features. Changes for this release include: - A new customizable start screen. Open the tools which you use the most with a single tap. - whole new main menu with recognizable icons. - A wiki-like documentation with further information about the underlying standards and formulas. - German translation

New main menu entry: X-ray calculations with Dosage and Penetration calculator. IQI converter now contains Duplex No. 14D to 15D+. IQI set now contains ASTM E-747. Bug removed at X-ray norm glossary: All norm explanations are now displayed completely. The CT penetration calculator has been revised considering the standard EN 16016-2.

The info page of IQI set is now scrollable on all devices. At IQI set, the unit of Diameter and Unsharpness is now included. In General calculations, the conversion of distance values is now more correctly.

New main menu entry: General calculations Here you can convert units of Distance, Weight, Time, Data and Angle. In Image quality control -> IQI set, there are now pictures for each IQI displayed.

In the IQI converter you can now calculate the resolution in µm. 'Line pair' is called from now 'Duplex number'. At the bottom of the app, you can see the current version of the app. At IQI estimator -> ISO 17636-2, there is now a note to interpret the SNRn min in the right way. IQI overview is renamed, now it's called IQI set. Amongst other things, there is an explanation for 1T, 2T and 4T available. Further the formula of Ui is updated and the definition of Uim is now more correctly.

X-ray norm glossary is now completed and divided in different sections where they are used.

Last corrections and a bug was fixed.

Now the app is available for all countries. Ut is renamed to Uim, some shortcuts are updated.

The calculation of Ui, Mopt and NrProj is corrected. Calculation of best voxel resolution removed. Definition of Ut now more precisely. Now you have to put in the value of PP instead of Ui. Some layout optimizations were done. Further it is now possible to type in a decimal number with a comma.

All "Shortcuts and Formulae"-pages are updated.

The values of the EditFields on Geometric Calculations are now automatically adopted if you go the Mopt Calculation. On X-ray Standards, the names of the Single Wire (Norm = API 5L) are changed so that they are more precisely. The default X-ray Voltage for ISO17636-2 is now 100kV instead of 15kV. Furthermore it is now distinguished between z and t by the selection of the Norm. Some shortcuts are disabled so if there is enough space, you can see the full name. Some unifications are added so that you can see for each calculation the unit of the result. A new functionality is added! On Image Quality Control, you can now get the ISO 19232-5 norm. Soon there will be added some other functionalities. It is now also included that the values you put into the EditFields in Geometric Calculations or Optimal Magnification are saved while the app is running so that you don't have to put in your values again and again, and if you go from Geometric Calculations to Optimal Magnification (or the other way round), the values are handed over now.

You can now get out of the input field with a simple tap anywhere else.
