Can you reset just one timer?
MrsTrajan
I have a bunch of timers going for different clients I work on. Can I reset just one timer instead of resetting all? For instance, I may keep track of general activity throughout the day that I bill to my company, but I have a specific client task that I want to track throughout the day. once the task is complete or I stop working on it, I want to add it to my timesheet and clear it without clearning my general company timer which I will use throughout the day. I also may want to come back to a task later but clear another one.In general, I like this. it stays on my desktop but doenst get in the way. It is clear and I can have multiple timers at once. It might also be nice to add notes to a timer.

Hey, you can reset a single timer by right-clicking it and select "Reset" from the context-menu. Thanks for using the app! A new version will come with quite some new features!
it's great!

Below you can see what I wrote previously, and the dev's response. I'm happy to report now that the issue has been resolved, and quite promptly, too. This app is beautiful and extremely useful, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to time the duration of several events. Thank you, dev, and more power to you! This app simply doesn't work. It appears to be working if it is in the front on screen, but as soon as it is in the background it fails. I set a timer and the darkened my screen and walked away. When I came back 13 minutes later, the app showed 1 min and 30 sec. It resumed working as soon as I brought it up to the front, but there was no record of the time while the screen was dark. This is not acceptable and I had to delete it. I wanted to keep it, because so many of the features are beautiful, but it is an epic FAIL. Ciao11_15_17, thanks dev for your response. I have installed it again and will give another try. I like the app very much so I hope it works this time.

Glad you find it useful, we'll listen to what users say and keep improving it. Thank you again for your feedback and compliment!Thank you for reporting this bug. It only happened for idle sleep - when Mac goes to sleep due to inactivity. It's caused by wakeup events not being sent for idle sleep, likely an OS X bug. It worked fine for forced sleep (e.g. when lid is closed) and other cases, like when app is in background, Mac is shut down or restarted, etc.The bug has been fixed in version 1.01, which has been approved and should appear in App Store anytime from now.
Not very intuitive; standard functions are overly complex

I’m trying a bunch of timer apps trying to find one that can float one or more small countdown timers (with labels) on the screen, and keep those same timer for easy re-use. This one didn’t do it for me. The window can be floated, but it’s the full window, meaning it will be more in the way. The UI is on the clumsy side — setting HH:MM:SS is done through 3 separate pulldown menus (why not just type in the time?); there seems to be some kind of non-clickable ad across the bottom of the window (it’s in Chinese, so I’m unsure what it really is); re-using a timer isn’t intuitive (requires right-click > menu); the unclear set of buttons across the bottom of the screen have no mouse-over tool-tips; opening and closing Preferences can’t be done with key commands. And when the app is open, it takes up room in both the Menu Bar and the Dock, with no way to hide either. Could be the right tool for some, as evidenced by other reviews here, but it’s not for me.
Bug on latest update?
HathwaySoftware
I've been using your timer every day at work. It is so helpful to be able to have multiple running at different times throughout the day!! I'm having an issue with the latest release though. I can no longer reset my predetermined timers to zero without removing the timers entirely. I now have to recreate each timer again in order to start the timer over. Is this a bug, or just how it is supposed to work now? I like to enter my time into my timesheet at work when I leave for lunch, and then at the end of the day. Because of this, I refresh my timers mid day. Thanks for your help!

An update on the mentioned issue: the "Reset All" can optionally keep all existing timers (but reset to initial states) in the upcoming version 2.0.3, which should remove the burden to re-create the same timers every day. Thanks for the feedback, we have added back the Reset menu in version 2.0.1, which should be released in next few days.
• Flexible Timers is now XTimers (short for fleXible Timers) — same app, same data, shorter name.
• New Reports. A dedicated Reports view with Summary, Standings, and Session breakdowns for any task, set, or selection. Export to CSV, HTML, or PDF; copy a clean summary; email a polished report; or share a link online. Light and dark report themes.
• Task history. Every task now keeps a synced session history, with a History view (day-by-day rollups and CSV export).
• Tidy reports. A new “Ignore sessions under” option hides very short sessions and merges brief gaps — display only; your saved times never change.
• Auto-Tracked upgrades. Choose the time window (today, 7 / 30 / 365 days) with up to a year of history retained.
• Faster and more efficient. Lower CPU and battery use for smoother timers and menu-bar updates.
• Better offline. Clear messages when something needs a connection, a cloud-sync status indicator, and scheduled reminders that send when you reconnect.
• More cross-device sync reliability and polish throughout.
