FluxPaper is a small utility that lives in your Mac’s menu bar. It quietly changes your desktop wallpaper with beautiful photography or pictures from your Photos library, giving every connected display its own fresh view.
Click the display icon to open the gallery, choose a screen, or change its wallpaper. There is no separate app window to keep open.

- Choose Featured photography, My Photos, or a mix of both.
- Set a schedule, from every 30 seconds to once a day.
- Give laptop, portrait, and ultrawide displays their own wallpapers.
- Use smart framing to fit each display and consider subjects in the photo.
- Choose still framing, gentle settling motion, or a drifting view.
- Pick from a range of wallpaper transitions.
YOUR PHOTOS. YOUR CHOICE.
- Enable Skip people to skip new photos where Apple Vision detects a person or face.
- Choose optional face marking, face blurring, and available sensitive-content filtering.
- Photo analysis happens on your Mac. Your Photos library is not uploaded for processing.
Native Liquid Glass controls keep the gallery and preferences close at hand. Enable Launch at login to have FluxPaper ready when your Mac starts.
Requires macOS 26 or later. People detection can miss a person; if no suitable new photo can be checked, FluxPaper keeps the current wallpaper.
