Rebuilt from the ground up: live TV, guide grid, timers and recordings of your Video Disk Recorder on Apple TV – controlled with the Siri Remote. vdrLive for TV brings the channels of your Video Disk Recorder (VDR) to Apple TV. • Home screen with the channel you watched last, continue watching, on TV now and tonight • Live TV of all channels through the streamdev-server plugin, including MPEG-2, H.264 and HEVC, stereo and AC-3 • Change channels with the Siri Remote (up/down), open the channel list with a click, see the current program • Guide grid with three hours at a glance, full-text search • Create timers from the guide, edit timers, conflicts and search timers (epgsearch) • Recordings in folders, resume, skip back 10 seconds and forward 30 seconds • Optionally start directly with the last channel you watched • Channel logos as well as images for programs and recordings through the restfulapi plugin • Adjustable deinterlacing and buffering, also for older Apple TV models • Demo mode with fictional channels Requirements: VDR with SVDRP access (svdrphosts.conf) and the streamdev-server plugin with its HTTP server enabled, which must also allow the Apple TV (streamdevhosts.conf). Settings › VDR Requirements shows which of these are met.
