Clever and fun

Addition ... The “factoids” offered at the end of each game are terrific. Even for someone addicted to little obscure facts, these are a rare treat. Enjoying this game enormously. But can’t seem to find details on how things work ... I’ve learned by trial and error, which has cost me coins. I’d suggest a little more generosity with those coins. How about a few coins reward at the end of each level. Or a surprise bonus for a particularly difficult word. When I exhaust my coins, I’ll probably move on ... don’t want to fall into the “purchase” trap. But meanwhile, it’s one of the best word games out there. Thumbs up!Update ... I’ve completed all the puzzles and eagerly await the new ones each week. I now rarely need coins and make sure I do the daily puzzle for 20 coins ( if you don’t miss a day ). I learned to never “ buy my way out” of a puzzle because you only get to move ahead one time and then have to go back to finish the one you paid a penalty to get out of. Don’t ever do that. Just pay for a couple of hints. And never use “sprinkle” ... a total waste. Choose “vowels” instead.The puzzles are brilliantly constructed with related terms and associations positioned adjacent to each other in the puzzle. Best online game ever! 👍👍👍👍👍

Bring Back Daily Puzzles

I once rated this game 4 stars - almost 5 if my first two suggestions had been implemented. I’ve enjoyed this game for a few years. It’s been part of my daily routine. Topics are interesting, and I learn new things. A few preferred tweaks: 1. Re-sort Genius Cards to have unused on the top. It’s obnoxious to have to sloooowwwwllllly flip through dozens and dozens to find one. I have to go slow bc if I miss it, I have to start all over again. 2. Option to confirm hint and reveal theme or place those buttons at top. Because of where the buttons are located, I’ve accidentally touched one or the other and wasted coins without meaning two. 3. *Most importantly* Bring back the daily puzzle, even if it’s for less coins. Or certain amount of coins based on how fast it’s solved. I looked forward to those shorter puzzle opportunities as well as the ability to add to my coins just by being a loyal daily player. I realize y’all gotta make money, but this is a make or break feature for me - and for several others, it would seem.

*EDIT*I am extremely disappointed that this app is no longer adding new puzzles. It seems the daily may end soon. This was a wonderful game that taught while being fun. This is a great app! I’ve learned, I’ve laughed and I’ve gotten frustrated but worked it out! It can be very hard in some puzzles, however so far I have found my way to finish every puzzle. I do like that you are able to go back and “redo” puzzles to get more genius cards. If you love crosswords, jigsaws, or any game app, I highly recommend this app. If you think you are really smart and like a challenge this is it. Think you’re not so smart, this helps you become smarter. This is definitely my favorite game, puzzle, app ever!

I’ve learned, I’ve laughed and I’ve gotten frustrated but worked it out! It can be very hard in some puzzles, however so far I have found my way to finish every puzzle. I do like that you are able to go back and “redo” puzzles to get more genius cards. If you love crosswords, jigsaws, or any game app, I highly recommend this app. If you think you are really smart and like a challenge this is it. Think you’re not so smart, this helps you become smarter. This is definitely my favorite game, puzzle, app ever!

I have been playing this game for a couple years and enjoy it but I give it only four stars until the developers make it easier to find the available genius cards that you have earned. Because I have completed many levels and earned 100’s of genius cards I cannot understand why the available ones do not sort to the top of the stack instead of having to tap the screen to advance through the stack one at a time. With no way to go to backwards, if you miss one you must go all the way through again to find it. And since the game does not tell you what genius cards you have available you find yourself going through them only to find that you do not have any must use coins to unlock one. I don’t mind using coins to unlock a genius card but only after I use the free ones I have earned first. Ridiculous.
