If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take one app with you, which app would you take? Yeah, probably some sort of "come and rescue me" app. But while you waited for help to arrive, you could use an app like Island Golf to help pass the time! Island Golf is a simple, easy-to-play arcade game where you play a quick round of golf with fairways on little lonely islands. There's no complex system of club types, swing meters or wind direction here. You just tap, drag, and release to take a shot. Every day a new course appears. See if you can beat par on each hole, and how low you can score through all 18. If you do well, you may even make the high score board for that day. If not, there's always tomorrow.

I’m retired and play about every day. I particularly like the simplicity. One does not have to worry about what club to use for each shot. You just concentrate on direction and touch. I also like that going “into” the ocean doesn’t warrant a penalty stroke. Hitting into the lake does and that’s fine. Island golf is highly recommended

I play just about everyday. I feel it keeps me active for eye usage. Good challenges for alignment of angles. I wish I could change my nickname for the game. Make sure you like the name you pick.I like that the courses change everyday. I wish you could play hook shots to play the doglegs.

Relaxing and low-key

Many games are too challenging for me to relax while playing. Others can seem to be primarily based on luck—and that is frustrating. This game is perfect for when you want to just do something simple and unwind a little. Not too noisy—I liked the gentle sounds of the golf ball as it hit the water, trees or sand, as well as the occasional golf crowd sounds of soft clapping and when the ball just missed the hole.

Didn't take long to get the hang of it but when I did, I played three straight games and I've gotta say, this game is really fun and highly recommended. I think I'm off to play my fourth now.
