Erstmals in den Geschichtsbüchern erwähnt wurde das heutige Ausflugslokal und Speiserestaurant St. Valentin im 16. Jahrhundert. 1766 wurde die Gaststätte von zwei Waldbrüdern neu erbaut und diente der Betreuung von Pilgern.
Das heutige St. Valentin bewirtet weniger Pilger, dafür Gäste aller Altersstufen. Vom jung gebliebenen 30er Jahre Studenten bis hin zum heutigen Studenten, sowie natürlich Familien und verliebte Pärchen, findet sich ein bunt gemischtes Publikum in dem idyllisch gelegenen Waldlokal ein. Egal ob zum traditionellen Pfannkuchenessen oder zum Genießen unserer beliebten Abendkarte (wechselnde saisonale Gerichte, Wild- und Fischspezialitäten) bietet das gemütliche Lokal das richtige Ambiente für jung und alt.
