Viva Peruvian Chicken NEVER Disappoints!

My husband and I are SoOoOoOo happy to have Viva Peruvian Chicken Restaurant in our neighborhood on Woodruff Road! We haven't had fried chicken in two years! ALL of the items on their menu are FRESH and cooked to perfection! Being introduced to a new place & food offering makes us want to visit Peru! The Chicken is ALWAYS good! I don't know their process but it's the HEALTIEST, most delicious restaurant food we've ever had! And my husband and I are in our 80s!!!!!! We LOVE it!

Too buggy to bother with.

Most people would get the app for the loyalty program or for the convenience of ordering through the app. Since neither work, the app is effectively a digital paperweight. You can’t order unless you specify what location you are ordering from (that makes sense). Unfortunately, the two methods to find your location (list or map) are dead features. When I went into the store for help, I was told that the app was buggy and just stops working sometimes. As far as I can tell, it has not worked in at least six months. I believe that customers who were previously able to fix a preferred location within the app may still be able to order (that’s what someone in line at the store told me).With regard to the loyalty program, you can only receive points if you order take out through the app. There are no points for dine in, but both the app and the website say you should be able to call in for take out and get points. This doesn’t work. The employees are exceptionally friendly, but do not have any training on the loyalty program and are unable to add points in the store for take out. Save yourself the frustration and eat elsewhere.

I love Viva Chicken. I can’t cook it as well at home, and I’m a good cook. I have never had trouble with the app in all the years I’ve been coming here. When I tap Order, the first thing that pops up is the list of locations. The dining room tends to be chilly so I know to wear a sweater. I’ve learned the names of the staff and every one of them has been friendly and helpful. It’s my favorite place.

Missing mobile app order

Bad app order experience
Today my husband went to pickup our mobile app non order. Ordered at 5:48pm said ready for pickup at 6:03. He goes in to get and doesn’t see it so goes sit in curbside to wait for it after text saying almost ready. Called store and sat on hold. Finally someone answers and says bring it right out. No one comes out after almost 30 mins of waiting. Go back in to ask about order. No one even was checking on it but apparently someone else swiped it and now it has to be remade!!!! Terrible service and maybe you shouldn’t leave app orders at the door to grab!!
