Very unreliable integration with Google Home. Devices often disappear or lose their type or name when synced. Commands sent through Google Home also fail randomly—for example, controlling two smart plugs may activate only one, while everything works fine in the DoHome app.The DoHome app itself is also buggy: creating a device group always return an error.Overall, I do not recommend the products or the app.
Fine
Hessinger
Not sure what the other reviews are about but this app works fine. Bought a dozen electric outlet switches and I didn’t have any problems. It asks to entire WiFi password so it can be shared with smart devices since they connect direct WiFi rather than a smart hub. The company also isn’t defunct, it’s alive and well and yes it’s in Shenzhen China, and I’m sure it’s servers are in mainland China but I don’t see any traffic being directed there on the day to day basis.
Terrible terrible interface
JimmmmyDo
The interface is terrible and buggy. 90% of the time it does not do what I ask to the smart device or just kicks me out of the app. Take this advise and just find another smart device management tool. I would hope the developers look into this and make some needed improvements. (It also does not reliably work with Alexa or other smart home management systems, so that won’t save you either)
Won’t let me log in
No thank you 3333&
Always disconnects. You are forced to disable and delete the App and then download again and 90% of the time it won’t let you log back it. I have sent so many emails to customer service. Also disconnects to Alexa and won’t let you use that
