This is a simple little mindless game that stops gameplay every now and then to ask you to upgrade to Hex Plus Pro. Don’t do that. I haven’t and you shouldn’t either. I’m guessing the alerts don’t go away even if you do pay for the “upgrade.” If you click on the link, close the browser window, and wait around three minutes, the message in the app goes away and allows you to continue to play without paying. The game also halts gameplay to ask you to give it a five star rating. Don’t do that either! The game has an overwhelming 5 star rating. I couldn’t find one postive review. The site has a pop up prompt requesting to upgrade to Hex Pro. The only way to move on is “Force Quit” the site. What concern me the most is after I purchased the upgrade for $1.99 it wasn’t through the Apple App Store. It was an independent PayPal site in Chinese. The upgrade literally bought NOTHING! There is no change to the site after the paid “upgrade” including the same the pop up asking for an upgrade which locks up computer. The ABOUT tab reads like a joke. DO NOT BUY IT!

When you start the app, it won’t let you place unless you immediately go and give it a 5-star rating. Then after playing it for a few minutes, it purposely locks up and take you to a Chinese PayPal site to “upgrade” to the “pro” version (probably illegally bypasses Apple’s in-app purchase option). After quitting the browser it automatically launched, the only way out of the app is to force quit it. DO NOT BUY! AVOID! Hopetully Apple will take this app down soon and ban the developer!
